The Fredericksburg Generals will host the 2008 PASL International Championships and all games will be played at the Fredericksburg Field House. The 12-team tournament will begin play on Friday, March 14th at 3:00pm with group play. The 12 best amateur indoor teams from across the country will be split into four groups of three. Each team will play two group play games on Friday evening. The quarter-finals and semi-finals will take place on Saturday morning and the International Final will kickoff at 6:00pm Saturday evening.
The host and Mid-Atlantic Division Champions, the Fredericksburg Generals will open the tournament against the Mountain Division Champion Albuquerque Asylum at 5:30pm. They will face Quantum FC in their second match of group play at 7:10pm. The abbreviated games will consist of two-18 minute halves.
The Fredericksburg Generals have won their last four games including the Division Championship 23-16 last weekend. Come out and be a part of the biggest indoor tournament in the United States right here in Fredericksburg!!! This is an opportunity to see the best athletes in the country compete for the top prize of PASL International Champion.
Tickets will be sold at the door only. Tickets will be good for the entire day. Adult One Day tickets cost $10 while Youth One Day tickets cost $5. An Adult Two Day ticket cost $15 and Youth Two Day Tickets cost $8. Come out and support the Generals for the final time in 2008!!!
