The Fredericksburg Generals are Fredericksburg's top men's elite level indoor team.  Apart of the Premier Arena Soccer League, the Generals are comprised of current and former college players and current and former professional players from the state of Virginia and beyond.  There are also players that are Fredericksburg natives that compete with the Generals on the National Stage.  The Generals, based out of the Fredericksburg Field House, play high level, fast paced, exciting soccer during the winter that exposes the community and its families to top level players and games.  The Generals, now in their second year of existance, average close to 650 fans per game, creating an exciting environment with lots of action and lots of goals. 

The Premier Arena Soccer League, also known as the PASL, is an international league that hosts teams from across the United States, Canada, Mexico, and other nations.  In 2006/2007, the Generals traveled to Charleston, South Carolina, Greenville, South Carolina, Charlotte, North Carolina, and Savannah, Georgia.  With league growing exponentially every year, in 2007/2008 the Generals will play teams from Richmond, Winchester, Williamsburg, and Baltimore.  With the Major Indoor Soccer League paying close attention to the PASL's players, the PASL is becoming a launching pad for tomorrow's professional indoor soccer players.  The PASL also is a continued training and competing ground for Professional players from teams that compete in the United Soccer Leagues and others. 

The Generals aim, in their second year, to build on last years success by continuing to bring high level indoor soccer to the fans, provide a family atmosphere, and to win a Conference Championship and to advance to the International Indoor Finals, to be held in 2008 at the Fredericksburg Field House.  The International Finals will draw thousands from around the country to the Fredericksburg Field House and local businesses.  This year will prove very exciting as players and fans a like will get their fill of Indoor Soccer played at one of the highest levels.
