F.C. Fredericksburg is pleased to announce its summer camp series to run throughout the summer months for the Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, and Stafford Communities. The 2008 Summer Camp Academies will begin the middle of June and run through the middle of August. These camps will be for all skill levels indicated for each camp and will provide training specific for that skill level.
Registration for the Fredericksburg Gunners 2008 Summer Camp Series is now open. This summer the Gunners will offer a variety camps allowing all types of players to enjoy soccer in a fun and focused environment. Players ages 6-18 are encouraged to choose the camp that best fits their needs as a player. Those players looking for lots of touches and skill development will benefit from the Coerver Camp. The strikers and goalkeepers looking to improve the technical aspect of their game will benefit from the Goalkeeping/Finishing Camp. Those players looking to train in an environment that features some of the best players on the east coast should attend the PDL/W-League.
There will also be special experience camps for players including a PDL and W-League Fantasy Camp and a Saturday Skills Clinic. These are a great and unique way to expose young players to the older players of the club and allow them a chance to engage these players one on one.
These camps are a great way for your player to better individual technical skills, work throughout the week in a team environment, interaction with Collegiate players and coaches, and recieve top instruction during the week. Camps will be held at the Fredericksburg Field House, Regency Park Sports, the Fredericksburg Academy, and other named locations.
