The F.C. Fredericksburg Gunners have announced their first PDL tryout for the 2008 season. Tryouts will be held on Saturday, December 8th at 2:00pm at Hotspur Park. The Gunners will be looking to improve on an overall successful 8-8 season in 2007 and Head Coach Cristian Neagu has a positive outlook for 2008. When asked about the upcoming PDL season, Neagu said, "I am very excited for the level of talent that we are going to be bring in and I am also excited to see if we might be able to add more local players to the roster this season. It is extremely important that we continue with the excitement built during our first season. I am extremely confident in our ability to challenge for a Conference Championship this year."
